Still here

Luke continues to have high levels of Bilirubin, the pediatrician is keeping us another night so that we can keep the BiliBlanket on him.

We are also working on getting Luke to start nursing better. This morning we had a visit with lactation specialist who is helping us with some new techniques to help him latch better. I have a new appreciation breast feeding, no small task!

Here's a picture after Luke had breakfast at 2:30 this morning.

What a sweetie! Those Boyd babies sure like their food! I know how tough it is to get the nursing thing down in the beginning. It takes a lot of patience and perseverance. We will pray that little Luke gets the hang of it soon!

I'm sorry that you have to stay longer, but glad you can spend the time working on the nursing...I agree with Mandy - it takes a lot of patience and perseverance - and I am definitely not the expert!!
