All is well here at home. After two sleepless nights in a row, I'm working hard at getting Luke on some type of a schedule even though it's an uphill battle! Luke has decided to stay up after he eats so I was spending at least 30 minutes walking around the house trying to get him to go to sleep and he would drift off to sleep, I would celebrate for a second, place him in his crib, and sure enough, he would wake up! ugh. So, David and I decided we would keep Luke up from 9-11 pm so he would hopefully sleep more during the night and it worked! Last night Luke woke up 3 times to eat and we were able to finish up each feeding and get back to bed in about 45 minutes.
Here are a couple of pictures:
Cute feet!

Tummy time!

Swing time!

Look at that head of hair! Luke is adorable! Glad you got a little more sleep last night. Hope it gets better and better!
Emily was doing the SAME thing at first too! But I used to keep it really dark at night when she'd get up except for a nightlight or the TV. Then I'd keep it super light during the day even during naps. This way she learned that dark meant back to sleep, and light meant get up and play! It seemed to work fairly fast too. She seemed to pick up on it by the time she was 3 weeks old or so.
Hopefully he is starting to sleep more for you! Soon, if you choose, you can add rice cereal to his before-bed bottle. I swear by it! I even started giving it to Emmie with her middle of the night bottle (around 2 or 3) so that she'd stay asleep till at least 6 or 7. :) Pretty soon, she'd just stay asleep all night! Yay!!!!!! Well, with the exception of waking up with no binky in her mouth... Yikes! LOL
